Located in a coastal setting of the Mornington Peninsula, the original circa 1915 cottage is largely intact, flanked by a fibre cement bunk room.

The proposal consists of a series of gabled pavilions in the spirit of the Mornington Peninsula vernacular beach box creating a sharded family weekend home for up to 3 families. An outdoor conversation and fire pit encourages social engagement, landscaped spaces are connected via pathways to evoke a sense of camping / summer beach shack.
